When milk is extracted from animals, it has a fixed temperature which is measured by a milk thermometer. A large difference indicates possible adulteration. Very useful in milk business.

Milk Lactometer

After temperature testing, milk is checked using a lactometer. CLR testing shows purity of milk. Higher difference indicates adulteration and affects milk price.
